The Urtan X-5 is a light and balanced three-section surf casting rod, which does not adopt classical solutions in its terminal part (solid carbon on the tubular or tubular) but rather an unusual mix, which sees a composite line grafted directly onto the hollow part underneath.

This in no way interferes with the overall action of the gear, which remains responsive and still, but interacts positively during the fishing phase.

In fact, this type of tip, which is undoubtedly softer and more sensitive, as well as less noticeable to the prey when biting, is the very best in all undertow and rough sea situations, where even slightly stiffer options are more penalised.
