They have been used by English fishermen for many years for fishing for Carp on commercial fisheries.

The MICRO CUT weights are perfect for balancing lighter floats that are attached to larger diameter lines thanks to the deep cut that fits perfectly, this is not always available on round shots which can be difficult to attach to thicker lines.
