The new Ausonia is a three-section rod with two interchangeable solid carbon tips (different action and power) designed specifically for medium-light drifting, but equally effective for medium-sized Mediterranean bolentino fishing.

A tool that can therefore enable fishing with light weights, but that can also allow the use of larger weights when the situation or fishing technique requires it.

Ausonia is a light, thin, manageable and very robust rod, capable of fighting off quite large prey, thanks to a very progressive action that perfectly follows the hooked fish when it escapes or starts moving again.

Being able to choose between two models of equal length (4.00 m) but with different actions (medium and strong) makes them even more versatile overall.

Sensitivity, strength and very participative action in combat are the true strengths of the new Ausonia, and you will already be able to see every one of its assets as soon as you pick it up.

The Fuji rings, the ONPS screw reel holder plate with low profile and anatomical grip, the graphic solutions and the quality of the bindings also make the tool aesthetically pleasing.

The base has a cross-shaped Gimbals rubber cap for belt combat and is coated with neoprene for the best grip in all conditions. Given the design and structure of these tools, it was not easy to classify it in terms of range, but we can safely say that depending on their robustness, they can handle weights ranging from a minimum of 40 grams in the Medium version to a maximum of over 300 grams in the Strong version.
